Happy Birthday to me!!

On Friday the 30th a bunch of us went out to Sushi Ya in Orem, ate their delicious sushi (glad we de-virgined Kristi) and then back up to the Zerm to celebrate my birthday. It was so much fun. I'm so glad everyone was able to come up. We just hung out, Mike and Morgan got me an awesome cake, we played some games, watched some movies and stayed up late and just laughed. It was awesome. Then Tuesday the 3rd, my acutal birthday, Kody came down and picked me up and told me we were going to Salt Lake and to dress normal. :) He wouldn't tell me what we were doing. He gave me the best gift. He has great taste, it couldn't have been more perfect. So we ended up going and watching the Joseph Smith movie, walked around Temple Square then back up to Heber to eat at Don Pedros. It couldn't have been a more perfect night. Kody is so good to me I couldn't ask for a better guy. This was by far the best birthday I could ever ask for for. Thanks everyone!

Happy Halloween!!

This year I was Rainbow Bright!! It sure did take me back to the good old days! :) A bunch of us went over to Morgans that night and watched scary movies and hung out and ate. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone all together again, only missing a few!

Swiss Days and Labor Day weekend

Swiss Days has come and gone once again. Me and Stefanie went on Saturday and looked around all the booths as much as we could without trying to run into people, especially those with strollers!! Okay come one ladies, lots of people, crowds, tiny booths and stollers don't really go together! But other then that haha ots of cute stuff this year! We noticed a lot of little girl items, and Stefanie being a mom to a little boy noticed that too! Why is that I wonder? Boy stuff can just be as cute as little frilly pink polka-dotta girl stuff too! Hmm...just a thought maybe next year someone will realize that haha. I decided I should put away a fund for a year just to Swiss Days so I can actually buy something fun :) But the best thing about Swiss Days is the SWISS TACO!! Hmm....so good! Here's the thing though, why make it so spicey but then only give you the smallest drink possible! By the time you've only taken 3 bites your drink is already gone! haha...just sayin! hmm...then there is the scones, the pie, the praztlez!! HMM!! LOVE IT! No matter how crazy and crowded it is I look forward to it every year :)



Sunday night I was invited to go camping with Kody and his mom, step-dad Kelly, half brother Kade and nephew Bryton. We went up Spanish Fork canyon to a place called Indian something haha. It was so much fun and so pretty up where we were at. When we got there and it was only me, Kody and Kade. So Kody and I take the four-wheeler up a trail we found. It was way fun and so pretty up there. It was the perfect time of night where it was just getting a little brisky but the sun was still warm on our skin while it was setting! OH PERFECT!! Then we went back down and his mom and Kelly get there finally. So, we leave Kade and Bryton in the trailer playing video games while we go drive hunting. I was so excited my first hunting experience ever. Me and Kody sat in the back of the truck on camping chairs as the look outs to see if we see any deer. If we did then we would have to tap on the side of the truck to warn them. We only saw a few doe's nothing to exciting since it was getting dark when we left. It was so much fun hanging out with his family. They are the nicest people and so much fun. I'm glad I finally got a chance to meet them!! Then tonight I'm going to a BBQ with some more family so that should be exciting!

I'M DONE!!

It's finally arrived!! My last day of school! :) Man it feels so good to be done. I graduated last Thursday. It's so weird not going to school. My life isn't so busy anymore, I actually have time to do things :) But I still freak out every morning thinking I over slept haha hope I get used to that. But that Friday i had a hands on interview up at the spa at Zermatt with Megan the supervisor and Michelle the director. I gave Megan a facial and Michelle a pedicure. They both said I did an awesome job considering I was just out of school. So I got hired :) I'm so excited!!! Not very many people can say they got a job right after they graduated! :) I have my first client on the 14th of September which I'm so stoked about. It's all finally paying off :)

Friday, me, Stefanie, Kody and Kevin all went out to celebrate at Sushi Ya and afterwards went bowling then midnight golfing. :) It was so much fun!! Sure do love spending time with them. Kody is amazing. I'm so glad he has come into my life he makes me the happiest I have been in such a long time. I'm always so glad that me and Stefanie have been hanging out again. We always have so much fun and she is such a strong girl for what she has been through. I look up to her so much. Love you Stef!!

Time Flies!

Time sure does fly when your having fun! I just finished up my Basics program in school and was able to take a week off before I go into the Masters program! Can you believe it, in only a few months little Lindsay is going to be and Esthetician :) I'm so excited. I really love this career path I've choosen! I love making people feel better about themselves by either improving their skin or just by having them come in for a relaxing time! It's very rewarding. I love what I do! :)
A little FYI we are doing our monthly specials at school and this month is any service $20.00 or more you get $10.00 off! And that is ANY DAY IN MAY! We are there Tuesday-Saturday and we start taking appointments at 1 PM-4 PM but on Saturdays we take them 9 AM-4 PM! So hurry and call and get your appointments!! LOVE YOU ALL! The Zermatt Oscars

Today at work Rachel and I were the hosts for our "Oscars" luncheon. We dressed up all fancy and were the girls interviewing everyone that walked down the red carpet into the luncheon. haha it was so much fun! Let's just say everyone was in their Zermatt finest :) Let's just say Rachel and me were ment to be on the red carpet! :) I'll have pictures coming soon, promise! Rachel won a prize in the drawing and I won a I love ZR shirt...oohh woot woot...which is like 5 times too big for me!! haha but hey I never win anything so this was great! Afterwards we went and worked out for a good 2 hours with the help of Nate showing us some good workouts! Rachel and I joined the "Biggest Winner" (Knock off of the biggest looser) at Zermatt just ya know for something to motivate us to work out! Oh man we got our butts kicked today! It's so worth it though...."nothing taste better then thin feels!" It's also good when your ex is up there because that also gives me more motivation to be like ya hmm ya i'm going to look good and you could've had this!! haha wow I'm funny! :) but seriously for some reason it does. Well I'll put up pictures soon and keep you updated on my Biggest Winner progress...I'm already starting to see more tone in my arms!! :) LOVE IT!

Happy Valentines Day!

On Friday I got to spend the evening with one of my favorite girls who I have missed terribly! The miss Alison Leigh Christian! We went down to Gateway and ate at Happy Sumo which was amazing! Afterwards we went and saw Confessions of a Shopaholic. We have been waiting to see this movie together ever since we saw the previews when we saw Twilight! It really made me want to go shopping but also made me realize why I don't own a credit card! haha! After trying two vending machines to get Alison a Cherry Coke to quench her thirst we decided to do one of our favorite traditions...STALKING..."I fly like paper get high like planes"...! It brought back many memories! It was so much fun being able to hang out with her again! I've missed living with her. She a great person and so much fun to be around! We always have a good time no matter what we are doing.

Saturday my hot date was Zermatt Resort and Spa! I had the privelage to work that night unfortantutly because I am one of the many singles of the front desk and volunteered. But it was totally worth it! The night turned out being one of the best nights! Everyone was so happy...hmm...give you one reason why...:) I pretty much spent the evening with my favorite boss-man checking out the two gay couples that checked in and talking to one of my ex's dad who was staying...awkward! So I would have to say from the past Valentines this one and last years were by far the best! Can't wait to see what the next one brings haha!

Busy busy!!

Sorry everyone I'm not very good at keeping up at this blogging stuff! I've just been keeping busy with school everyday and then working and trying to get extra hours babysitting for Natalie and Kelly since Zermatt is so slow. School has been great! I'm loving it and all the girls there. We are one big family it's great! This past Monday me and a few of the girls from school went to Timpview high school and got to wax some of their male students during there Sub for Santa fundraiser assembly! haha let's just say when it comes to waxing...girls...we know how to handle it! Boys are such babies!! After we did that they had a "special guest" so we stuck around for awhile to see who it was! While we were waiting we decided to go out in the hall and finish waxing a couple of the boys arm pits that we didn't get to finish during the assembly and low and behold there is the speical guest out in the hall...the one and only DONNY OSMOND!! haha apparently his son goes to that high school. So the girls and I got a picture with him before he went out and surprised 7 people with a private trip to Vegan to the Donny and Marie Show!! JEALOUS! Fun day for sure!

Today I was Presslee's ginnypig for a Detoxifying body wrap. Let's just say we are a lot closer of friends then we were this morning haha! :) It's a great wrap! I lost 2 inches in my waist and my inner thighs! It's AMAZING! you pretty much put this cinnamon smelling stuff all over your body and then get completely wrapped in saran wrap. So much fun! I highly recommend them.

SUNDANCE!!

So it's Sundance Film Festivle this week and I'm so excited!! Tonight it's aready started out great!! A guest came in who is a make up artist for a bunch of people at the festivle. She's from New York and she works with Sephora. We got to talking about make up and how I just started esthetics and she's all have you seen the new mascara from Dior...so she whips it out and shows me and yes it's amazing!! She'a all do you work tomorow I'll totally bring one to you!! awwww!!! i'm so stoked!! :D I love having the hook ups! Tomorrow will be better....the STARS are coming!

New Year!!

It's a new year and a new me! :D During Christmas Break I did a lot of thinking and decided...you know I really hate doing hair! hahaha I know right...who would have thought! Those of you who know me know how much I love make up...RIGHT? So I got to thinkin', why am I doing something I hate going to everyday when I could be doing something that I'm passionate about! That's when I decided to transfer over the the Esthetics side of my school! So, sorry everyone I'm no longer in the hair department, but I can still do hair cuts on the side...;) Now you everyone can come to me for stuff like facials, waxing, mani and pedi's, eyebrow/eyelast tinting, gel toes, acrylic nails....etc. Also, I'm going to be taking a permanent make up class and will be needing 3 models! LET ME KNOW! Anyways, I've been there for 2 days and I'm already loving it! I graduate in September and plan on staying at Zermatt but working up at the Spa! So, that's my life as 2009! More exciting times to come! :D
